Pleated filter can be divided into candle filter and cartridge filter. There are mainly two kinds of materials for the pleated filter: stainless steel woven wire mesh and stainless steel sintered fiber felt which is made of stainless steel fiber by sintered in high temperature. Apart from the pleated filter, there is a type of filter protected by square perforated metal mesh or fastened by wire mesh in the surface, which is more strength and an ideal alternative to filter gas or liquid. Due to its pleated structure and raw material, pleated filter has the advantages of large filter area, smooth surface, firm structure, high porosity and good particle holding capacity, etc.

Candle filter
Candle filter is a common type filter used for filtration in industries. It is available in a pleated cylindrical type and a tube type. Both of them are manufactured in a wide range of sizes and various filtration rating to satisfy each customer's demand. The candle filters offer excellent reliability for your critical applications.

Further, the candle filter made of sintered SS316 fiber felt is cleanable and reusable.

Cartridge filter
The cartridge filter is widely renowned for its reliability, designed compact, easy installation and longer service life. Manufactured with entirely of SS304 or SS316 using advanced machine, this type of filter is highly efficient in flow restriction and particle capture. Apart from the pleated cartridge filter, there is pleated cylindrical filter.
