The Xaar 1003 GS12U printhead is fully backward compatible with Xaar 1002U and 1001U based printers. This ensures that ceramic tile manufacturers can maximize the return on their printer investment with the ability to install the 1003U printhead in 1002U or 1001U based printers as a single head replacement or, to upgrade full print-bars or, even upgrade complete printers to take advantage of the improved durability, print quality and productivity that the Xaar 1003Ceramics printhead delivers.
