Laohekou Jinghong Chemical Co.,Ltd. is a large private enterprise in northwest Hubei Province. There are more than 300 employees in the company including 57 engineering technicians. Currently, the company owns 4 direct proprietary subsidiaries. Occupying a total area of nearly 200 mu, the company has a fixed assets of RMB 30 million. The company has chemical production lines which can produce 5,000t vinyl ether series products, 5,000t glutaraldehyde, 3,000t acrolein, 3,000t methylaniline per year, pesticide production lines with an annual output of 5,000t bisultap aqueous solution, 300t bisultap TC, 2,000t compound, a production with an annual output of 2,000t calp box and a production plant with annual output of 96,000 bottles of acetylene gas.
Among our products, the glutaraldehyde and vinyl ether developed in 1999 have filled in domestic vacuum. At present, the production capacity of glutaraldehyde and vinyl ether series products of our company ranks first in Asia.

For years, we have upheld the tenet of "Quality first, customer paramount", and kept innovating production techniques and improving Q.C. and Q.A. system to update our products quality and services. And the company has been awarded numerous honors. In 2004, the company received certificate of ISO9001 international quality system certification, and in 2005, it passed the Safety Appraisal of Dangerous Chemicals and attained the Safe Production Certificate.

We have more than 20 kinds of products in three areas: chemicals, pesticides and plastic packing.

Fine chemical products: vinyl ether series products, acrylic acid, glutaraldehyde, acryl aldehyde, 2,4-Dimethylaniline, 2,6-Dimethylaniline, 2,4-methylaniline, 2,6-methylaniline, dissolved acetylene etc. Pesticides include bisultap, monosultap and chlordimeform (tech) as well as 20% Fenpropathrin emulsion, 1% abamectin emulsion etc.,
Jinghong Chemical aims to be a research based chemical manufacturer. As part of the efforts to achieve this goal, it has built up collaborative relations with some of the best chemical institutes, academic organizations and other fine chemical manufacturers for R&D cooperation and related issues. Its main products, acrolein and vinyl ethers have successfully gained entry to the EU and Southeast Asia markets. In 2002 Jinghong Chemical was awarded "1st Prize on Sci-tech Advancement" by the government for the development of acrolein.
