Cone leaves - the characteristic of Vietnamese people
Leaf cones are familiar images of Vietnamese women, though rustic, fragile and flooded but equally charming.
Not only is the rain cover, sunshade, the leaf hat contains the historical treasure of the wet rice civilization of the Vietnamese people. The origin of the hat is the story of a tall woman, who always wears a hat made of four round leaves. Wherever people appear, clouds disappear quickly and the weather becomes favorable. After teaching people to grow rice and food crops, the goddess disappeared. The Vietnamese are grateful and have built a temple to commemorate the grace of the goddess.
The ancient Vietnamese tried to create a similar model of a goddess by stripping palm leaves together and now it is called leaf cones. Images of leaf cones have become too close and familiar to farmers in the fields.
